I’ve done this. Quit a job I hated after nine months. Took a fifty-percent pay cut and left a major toy company to work for a seven-person city magazine. Best decision I’ve ever made; no regrets only rewards ever since. Wasn’t easy and agonized over the decision for a long time. But you know when it’s time. With proper planning, emotionally and financially, it all works out.
