I love this! I couldn't help being distracted by my own journey as I read yours. As I reach the golden years of my career, I continually question experience verses youth. If I had to start all over again, what wins out? I recognize all the sites, names and programs you've brought up - I was in marketing in the tech/software industry in the late 90s working for a start-up called Sonic Foundry. Still around, different product line. I've since moved on, but remember those days fondly.
